Can the Blackthroated Finch survive Qld Labor?

Adani in path of more than one endangered species in Queensland

“Well fancy that. After months of dithering on Adani’s proposed Carmichael mine in the Galilee Basin and refusing to intervene in an approval process that saw the company frustrated at every turn, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has suddenly found her voice again. 1. Qld labour has lost my (and many, many other) vote(s) over their gutless repose to the outcome of the latest federal election by pushing for, not an end to considering approval, but pushing for the approval of this mine.
The risks to, not only the Blackface Finch but so many other aspects of environment – for me the main concern is degradation of ground water, both pollution of the aquifer but its depletion.
