Bill Shorten stands by ‘rape joke’ Labor candidate

Luke Creasey, 29, faced calls to step down for sharing porn and rape memes and insulting working class voters on Facebook in 2012.

Bill Shorten INITIALLY stood by the candidate but LATER more of Creasey’s posts emerged, including one in which he joked about violence against women, and Shorten asked for a brief* from officials.

The Labor candidate THEN resigned from the Labor party [himself] AFTER it emerged [that] he [had] joked on Facebook about his friends ‘roughly taking’ a woman’s virginity.
