Three candidates were distributing mail-outs that had no reference to Bill Shorten. The West Australian uncovered that candidates in Hasluck, Canning and Swan had flyers and letters that had been distributed with no reference to Mr Shorten. Instead Premier Mark McGowan featured heavily and even local State MPs were put above Mr Shorten. In polling last month by Crosby Textor, Mr Shorten was polled as having a minus 26 favourability in Cowan — held by Labor’s Anne Aly by 0.7 per cent.
