Former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull has demanded answers from PM, Scott Morrison [‘his replacement’] and slammed the Home Affairs Minister [Dutton, the Challenger who triggered his resignation] amid revelations a Chinese Communist Party-aligned billionaire paid tens of thousands of dollars [to a lobbyist] trying to secure Australian citizenship. Peter Dutton never accepted money from Huang Xiangmo [and DID NOT grant him citizenship].

Nothing to see here:
On 6 February, ABC News reported:
“Australia denies citizenship to Chinese political donor Huang Xiangmo and strips his permanent residency”
Reported in AFR.com on 8 February:
“Xiangmo to Liberal and Labor: I want my money back”
Huang received a notice from the Department of Home Affairs in December telling him his permanent residency visa had been cancelled, while he was in Hong Kong where he was now spends most of his time due to business commitments.
But Turnbull may have some question to answer himself:
In September 2016, the SMH reported:
“Huang Xiangmo with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in 2016”
But the biggest questions should be posed about Bill Shorten:
Chinese billionaire Huang Xiangmo paid $55,000 for lunch with Bill Shorten
One day after the October 20 donation, Mr Shorten announced Labor would support the ‘speedy passage’ of the trade deal after securing ‘satisfactory legal protections that were not previously disclosed’.
