Labor’s Daley countenances a Nation of victims

NSW Labor leader Daley says if he is elected premier he will ‘not countenance’ the weakening of the state’s gun laws.

This week the Labor party confirmed it will direct its second-preference votes to the Shooters, Fishers and Farmers party in two vital, marginal seats in NSW. The decision increases the possibility the Shooters and Fishers party, will hold the balance of power in the NSW parliament after the March 23rd election.

December 2014, Sydney siege

In the Sydney siege, if cafe manager Tori Johnson had been armed, the siege could have been over in a few seconds. Instead he had to use his bare hands:
