“Remember when the ALP funded to Chatswood to Epping rail link. The rolling stock was too long to go over the crest in and out of the tunnell(sic). Labor give us the greatest laughs when they do ‘things’. Leave it Labor, that way we get humour thrown in on the deal.
It was the same when Labor ordered safety screens into all NSW taxis but only contracted the construction for one particular type of Ford Falcon sedan. They didn’t realise these wouldn’t fit all Falcon models, nor did they recognise they wouldn’t fit any Holden or Toyota model and were useless in Falcon station wagons. Another mighty laugh!
