Labor’s nonsensical ‘capability gap’

Richard Marles: “In acquiring the Future Submarine it is imperative that no capability gap is created in the transition from the Collins Class submarine to the future submarine”.

Comment:

  1. There is ALREADY a capability gap. Collins class is not nuclear.
  2. The future submarine is non-nuclear, so the gap is assured.

This is the same guy who said that it ‘could be a GOOD thing’ if Australia’s coal industry collapsed.

Maybe Australia’s coal industry collapsed, then Australia wouldn’t be worth defending. THAT would save a lot of money!
