Shorten Bill allows 57 ‘security risk’ aliens into Australia

Fifty-seven male asylum seekers accused of crimes such as sexual assault and posting extremist imagery online, who are deemed to be a security risk will be sent to Christmas Island.

During the PM’s visit to the island, he told reporters that ‘The laws that have been passed deny us the opportunity to prevent people coming to Australia who otherwise would never be able to’.
